EMCI Reaches Deal With IPI
EMCI announced today it has reached a long-term, multi-product license arrangement with Innovative Products, Inc. to expand its footprint into the dental market space. The two companies were introduced by the Kansas Bioscience Authority, where IPI received proof-of-concept funding to develop one of the new products, the Flexi-Lume.

EMCI Leases R&D Lab
EMCI (Epic Medical Concepts & Innovations, Inc.) announced today that it has leased research and development space at the Kansas Bioscience Authority’s Venture Accelerator.
The Venture Accelerator at the Kansas Bioscience Park in Olathe, Kansas is a 38,723-square-foot innovation incubator building customized with labs and lab office space designed to help medical companies get new products to market efficiently and successfully.
EMCI Improves Vertical Integration
EMCI today announced it has added new manufacturing capabilities to its manufacturing facility in Kansas City.
EMCI can now do type II anodizing, bright dip anodizing, Copper plating, Nickel Plating, and Reprochrome Plating as well as laser engraving. Having these processes in house will allow tighter quality controls and faster turnaround times.
The company plans to continue to expand its capabilities in this area over the next 12 months by adding additional plate options.
